FBB Codex
The player-facing codex for Five Banners Burning, a Daggerheart campaign set on the continent of Althas.
Five nations hold a fragile armistice: Armada (federation of independent city-states), Hilltop (theocracy holding a monopoly on divine access), Jesthaen (youngest nation, won independence from Voldaen), Polaris (magocracy of rapid progress), and Voldaen (the old monarchy the others splintered from).
Where to start
- The Party — who walks into the story.
- Reference — places, people, factions, items.
- Chronicle — what happened, in order.
Sources
Campaign lore lives in Vellum’s campaign repo. Only player-safe material
(03 Reference/, 04 Chronicle/) is synced here — GM-private folders never
enter this pipeline.
