At a glance

  • Trained at the College of Jesters in acting, rhetoric, and performance; a promising early stage career.
  • Murdered his closest friend Caragan Moors in a rivalry over Morraine Icebreaker. Fled the capitol. Has never stopped running.
  • Fifteen years later, he crafted his final role from a dead hermit’s example: Vultur, a savage mountain dweller the frontier fears as a demon, a grave robber — stories claim, a cannibal. Most are exaggerations. Not all.
  • Keeps his one treasure in a hidden cave: weathered plays by Guar, Royal Playwright of Althas, whose characters keep him company — Lord Endafen, Garnax the Foolish Bard, Hobin the Forgotten Hero, the cruel Captain Crow. Whether they are memory, imagination, or madness is a question he avoids.

Ancestry feature (Faerie): Luckbender — once per session, spend 3 Hope to reroll the Duality Dice after you or a willing ally within Close range makes an action roll. Wings — you can fly.

Community feature (Ridgeborne): Steady — advantage on rolls to traverse dangerous cliffs and ledges, navigate harsh environments, and use survival knowledge.

Subclass feature (Call of the Slayer): Slayer Dice pool — on a roll with Hope you may place a d6 on this card instead of gaining a Hope (up to your Proficiency); spend them on attack or damage rolls. Clear unspent dice at session end for 1 Hope each.

On the record

A bounty was once claimed on his head. When he recovered from the attempt, he stood on the town walls and declared exactly who he was before fleeing — a dramatic flourish that has followed him ever since.
